The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection with a rash of car break-ins.
The suspects are accused of breaking into motor vehicles in the Clayton-Cleveland area including homes along Jack and Ranch Roads. The break-ins occurred over a two week period with the latest being discovered on Friday.
Robert Tremayne Davis, 27, of Third Avenue, Smithfield and Kelly Brinkley Boese, 34, of Stokes Road, Middlesex were arrested Fridayafternoon by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of Smithfield Police.

In one of the car break-ins reported two weeks ago, the victim said child car seats had been stolen. The victim later found the items listed for sale on a social media yard sale site allegedly by Boese. The stolen seats were recovered.
