Over an ounce of marijuana was seized from a Johnston County home after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the residence.
The incident was reported around 5:00am last Wednesday on Blue Peak Drive off Cleveland Crossings Drive.
Deputies arrived at the address responding to a report of a domestic incident and immediately detected an odor of marijuana after entering the home. Officers seized a total of 31.7 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officers also said there was a 1 year-old child present.
Alexander Michael Pastrana, 25, of the 4500 block of Little Creek Church Road, Clayton was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, misdemeanor child abuse, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Pastrana was taken before a magistrate who set his bail at $25,000.
No injuries were reported.
