The Four Oaks Town Council, along with Mayor Linwood Parker, presented a proclamation in memory of Mrs. Marjorie Barbour Lamm at the Four Oaks Town Hall on Monday night.
On hand to hear and receive the proclamation were her husband of 63 years, Mr. Carl Lamm, and numerous family members.
Mrs. Lamm was born and reared in Four Oaks. She graduated from Four Oaks High School in 1951. She remained an active part of the Four Oaks Community her entire life. Mayor Linwood Parker referred to her as one of the “oaks” of the town.
Mrs. Lamm passed away on May 15, 2015 at the age of 82.
