Garner Police are investigating an overnight robbery and shooting that occurred on Lenoxplace Circle.
According to investigators, 47 year-old Sean Sanders was walking to his vehicle at around 2:20 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) when he was approached by an unknown male wearing all dark clothing and a dark mask. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallet. At some point during the robbery, the suspect shot the victim multiple times before leaving the area on foot in an unknown direction of travel.
The victim was transported to Wake Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The victim lives at the apartment complex.
