A Harnett county resident was arrested Wednesday for a 2016 burglary in southern Johnston County.
On November 11th, a resident on Mary Michael Lane near Benson reported that someone had broken into their home and removed an $11,000 necklace along with other jewelry items and their children’s social security cards.
Johnston County deputies got a break in the case when someone used the stolen social security card information to open a credit card account.
Tiesha Mathias McNeill, 30, of Carol Street, Dunn is charged with six felony offenses including breaking and entering, larceny, identity theft, attempting to obtain property by false pretenses, obstructing justice, and conspiracy. She was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $130,000 bond.
A second suspect in the case is still at large.
