Smithfield Police seized several marijuana plants after conducting a search warrant at a home in West Smithfield Tuesday morning.
Following an investigation by the department’s narcotics division, agents searched a location on Barbour Road and seized 9 marijuana plants, according to Police Captain R.K. Powell. At full maturity, the plants would have a potential street value of $13,500.
