Patrick McIver Recipient Of ROTC Award At The Citadel

Charleston, SC – The Citadel has recognized Patrick McIver of Clayton, NC for receiving an award at The Citadel’s 2017 Joint ROTC Awards. The Citadel produces more officers through its ROTC programs than almost any college in America. This spring approximately 93 cadets are expected to commission in all branches of military service.

The Citadel’s Joint ROTC Awards recently observed over 100 outstanding members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets at McAlister Field House.

The Citadel with its iconic campus located in Charleston, South Carolina, offers a classic military college education for young men and women profoundly focused on leadership excellence and academic distinction. The 2,300 members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets are not required to serve in the military but about one-third of each class commission as officers in every branch of U.S. military service.
