Sheep Found On High School Soccer Field

Authorities are trying to identify the owners of about a dozen sheep that showed up on the campus of Corinth Holders High School Tuesday morning.

School officials observed 10-15 sheep on the school soccer field before they wondered away.  Johnston County deputies were called to the campus and located two of the animals that had died near the front entrance to the school on Applewhite Road.

Officials believe the sheep belong to someone in the area, but have so far been unsuccessful in locating the owner.
