A high school student was arrested on campus Thursday following an incident.
A school resource officer at South Johnston High School reported a 16 year-old student was assaulted around 1:00pm while on school grounds.
Sixteen year-old William Greiner Autry of Hannah Creek Road, Four Oaks was charged with simple assault. Autry allegedly struck the victim twice with a closed fist. The victim sustained minor injuries. A motive was not released.
Autry was released on a $500 bond.
