The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance images of the two suspects who robbed Wendy’s restaurant on Highway 210 at Interstate 40 Saturday night.
Around 8:30pm, two males entered the business. One of the suspects was armed with a silver handgun. Authorities believe one suspect was a white male and the other was a black male.
One robber ordered the manager to open the safe while the second suspect took money from the drive-thru register. Both fled out the back door on foot.
This was the sixth robbery of a fast food restaurant in Johnston County in 5 weeks.
