$1 Million Bond For Drug Trafficking Suspect

A 53 year-old woman arrested on drug trafficking charges is being held on a one million dollar bond.  Following a yearlong investigation, agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant on August 13th at the residence of Leigh Beverley Davis on Mountain Top Drive, Garner, a Johnston County address off Cleveland Crossings Drive.  

Authorities allege Davis was using her dwelling to distribute crystal methamphetamine. 

During the investigation undercover agents allegedly purchased methamphetamine from Davis. 

Davis was arrested on 14 felony drug offenses including five counts of trafficking methamphetamine, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of delivery of a controlled substances, and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance.
