$20,000 Bond Set For Cell Phone Theft Suspect

A Pine Level woman was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly stealing a cell phone from a Selma area daycare in January then reselling the phone.

Krystal Christina Davidson, 33, of E. Brown Street was arrested by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office on charges of misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen property and felony obtaining property by false pretenses.

On January 16th, the victim reported her cell phone had been stolen and the last place she remembered having it was at her child’s daycare.   Davidson reportedly gained possession of the phone and later resold it at an automated kiosk that buys used phones.

Davidson was given a $20,000 bond on the three criminal charges. She was given an additional $2,000 bond on a failure to appear warrant for a driving on a revoked license charge.
