21 Year-Old Arrested For Fraud And Identity Theft

PRINCETON – A criminal investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of 21 year-old Jimmie Spencer Kincaid of Bizzell Grove Church Road, Princeton.

Kincaid is accused of stealing a debit card belonging to a Princeton-area resident in July 2024, days before the victim was hospitalized. When the victim returned home from the hospital, in August 2024, they realized their debit card was missing, along with approximately $1,364 from their bank account.

Kincaid is accused of using the stolen debit card to make purchases at several locations including an area grocery store, fast food restaurants, smoke and vape shops, and convenience stores.

Kincaid was charged with 20 offenses including eight counts of identity theft, eight counts of obtaining property by false pretense, and single counts of financial card theft, larceny, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arrested October 1 and confined in the Johnston County Detention Center under a $61,000 secured bond.
