3 Arrested After Meth Found Inside Car, JCSO Says

Three men were arrested after suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was reportedly found in their car.

Around 1:50pm Monday, a SAFE Team deputy stopped a car for having a fictitious license plate on Old 301 Road off Parker Road near Four Oaks.

During the traffic stop the deputy reportedly saw a needle cap and a smoking pipe with residue in plain view. During a search of the car, approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, 10 hypodermic needles, 3 plastic baggies, and other drug paraphernalia were reportedly found.

The driver, 20 year-old Nicholas James Jones of Bryant Pond Road, Dunn and two passengers, 21 year-old Corey Lynn Allen of Wood Lee Road, Four Oaks, and 20 year-old Johnathan Wayne Wood of Dragstrip Road, Benson were arrested.

All three suspects were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Wood was later charged with possession of a controlled substance in jail.

Wood was given a $15,000 bond, Jones a $5,000 bond, and Allen a $2,500 unsecured bond.
