Three people were arrested Wednesday on charges of having a stolen gun and marijuana in their possession during a search of a Goldsboro area home.
Wayne County deputies went to an address on East April Lane and upon arriving at the front door could reportedly smell an odor of marijuana coming from the residence.
Jessica Lynn Uzzell, 24, and four other people in the home were detained. During a search, officers also found 3 small children. Contraband including two firearms, marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were also located. One of the weapons had been reported stolen in Wayne County.
Uzzell and two others, Tyqual D. Price, 17, of Sunburst Drive, Goldsboro, and Islam S. Dove, 18, whose address was listed as the Streets of Goldsboro, were all charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Price and Dove were also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
Uzzell was given a $12,000 bond, Price $90,000 bond, and Dove a $100,000 bond. Two others in the home were not charged and released.
The Wayne County Department of Child Services was notified about the three small children being located in the residence.
