4 Arrested Following Search Warrant At Smithfield Home

Four people are facing felony charges after Smithfield Police conducted a search warrant at a home at 1109 Forbes Drive, off S. Brightleaf Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

Police were joined by Probation and Parole officers during the search of the residence.  Officers said they found suspected methamphetamine, prescription pills, used syringes, digital scales and drug paraphernalia including a meth pipe and a marijuana pipe.


Ryan Wesley Moore, 35, of Forbes Drive, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. He was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $25,000 bond.


Charles Brian Spencer, 39, of Forbes Drive, was charged with felony maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Spencer was held under a $25,000 bond.


Amanda Hinson Creech, 29, of Vann Lane, Selma was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of a controlled substance.  She was incarcerated under a $40,000 bond.


Daniel Alford Wischhusen, 28, of Old Smithfield Road, Bailey was charged with a single felony count of possession of methamphetamine. Wischhusen was jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Police said they had conducted surveillance on the residence before executing the search warrant.
