Property Taken During Princeton Business Break-In Recovered
A multi-county investigation into stolen property has resulted in the arrests of 5 individuals following the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday and the recovery of thousands of dollars in stolen goods.
The Johnston and Wayne County Sheriff Offices along with NC DMV searched property at 390 Thigpen Dairy Road near Mount Olive recovering stolen items and seizing narcotics inside the residence.
Johnston County detectives said they recovered a some of the property stolen during an August 22nd break-in at Blue Water Sand & Gravel at 591 Williford Road near Princeton. During the break-in two trucks, tools, and even the security camera system were stolen. Altogether, $54,860 in items were taken. One of the two stolen trucks was located on Thigpen Dairy Road during Wednesday’s search warrant.
Teddy Alan Moody, 41, of Thigpen Dairy Road, Mount Olive was arrested and jailed under a $635,000 bond. His charges including possession of 6 stolen motor vehicles, 3 counts of possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Jody Lee Ginn, 37, of Pate Road, Fremont was charged with 6 counts of possession of stolen motor vehicles, 3 counts of possession of stolen goods, and one count of possession of methamphetamines. Bond was set at $40,000.
Alexandra Michelle Smith, 32, of Davis Homestead Road, Selma was charged with three drug offenses. Bail was set at $2,500.
Kristina Marie Davis, 26, of Ann Street, Goldsboro was charged with possession of methamphetamines. Bail was set at $1,500.
Alesia Maranda Scott, 24, of Bennett’s Bridge Road, Mount Olive was charged with possession of methamphetamines. Bond was set at $1,500.
