A Johnston County woman was arrested during a traffic stop after $6,600 in counterfeit money was reportedly found in her possession.
A deputy sheriff stopped a car Monday night on Mt. Pleasant Road in the Willow Spring community.
A person in the car, 52 year-old Toni Moore Perry of Massengill Pond Road, Angier allegedly had 66 fake $100 bills.
Perry was charged with possession of counterfeit currency, a felony. She was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
