Alien Indicted On Illegal Reentry Charges

A federal grand jury in Raleigh has returned an indictment charging Jose Guadalupe Burgos-Soto, 33, of Mexico, with illegal reentry.

Burgos-Soto was previously deported 4 times. He was recently found in Johnston County.

If convicted of Illegal Reentry of a Deported Alien he could face a maximum penalties of two years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, and a term of supervised release following any term of imprisonment.

The case is being investigated by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations.
