A two week investigation into a break-in at a Johnston County high school has resulted in one arrest and the recovery of most of the stolen property.
On Sunday night, October 7th, a break-in was discovered at the guard shack at Corinth Holders High School on Applewhite Road. During the break-in, seven cell phones used by bus drivers were stolen.
During an investigation, Johnston County deputies recovered 5 of the 7 stolen phones, valued at $100 each.
On Monday, 26 year-old Michael Jay Bridges of Applewhite Road, Wendell was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. He was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
