Following a lengthy investigation by Four Oaks Police and the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, two arrests have been made in a rash of car and building break-ins in recent weeks in the Four Oaks and Benson areas.
Four Oaks Police arrested the first suspect, 19 year-old Lenterrel Demill Ray of Lillington, during a traffic stop around 8:00 PM Thursday. Around 2:00 AM Friday, the second suspect, 22 year-old Douglas Mac Parrish of Lillington, was arrested during a search warrant that executed by Four Oaks Police, with the assistance of the sheriff’s office and Smithfield Police.
Ray and Parrish are charged with 6 vehicle break-ins in the Four Oaks city limits along with one count of breaking into a building.
Johnston County Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said the two men will be charged with a series of car break-ins and thefts in the Boyette Road area, just outside the Four Oaks city limits, in recent weeks along with several break-ins on T-Bar Road outside of Benson.
Ray was charged by Four Oaks Police with possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest. He was wanted on several warrants in Wake and Harnett Counties including probation violation, larceny, child abuse, and driving while impaired.
Parrish was wanted at this time of his arrested this morning for larceny of a firearm, breaking and entering, and probation violation in Sampson County.
Nineteen year-old Chelsie Keath Woodall of Coats was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during the traffic stop.
