BBQ Chicken Fundraiser To Support Masonic Home For Children
PRINCETON — St. Patrick’s Masonic Lodge #617 is preparing for its annual BBQ chicken fundraiser to benefit the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford.

The drive-thru event will take place Saturday, March 7, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Lodge, located at 370 W. 1st Street in Princeton.
Organizers say the fundraiser serves as both a community gathering and an opportunity to support a cause that provides care and support for children across North Carolina.
Each $12 BBQ chicken plate will include potatoes, green beans, and dessert.
Josh Bizzell, a member of St. Patrick’s Masonic Lodge, said the goal is to bring the community together while raising funds for a meaningful mission.
“All proceeds from the fundraiser directly benefit the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford,” Bizzell said. “We appreciate the continued support from the community each year and look forward to another successful event.”
In addition to meal sales, organizers are seeking local sponsors to help offset the cost of the fundraiser. Sponsorships are available for $100, and sponsors will be recognized on official event banners. The deadline for sponsorship participation is March 2.
The Masonic Home for Children provides essential services, education, and support programs for youth, and lodge members say community events like this play an important role in sustaining those efforts.
Residents interested in sponsorship opportunities or additional information can contact Josh Bizzell at 919-273-2449 or visit the St. Patrick’s Lodge #617 Facebook page.

I have my Saint Patrick’s yard decorations up! Sounds like a great event to honor Saint Patrick, I hope to be there at 4:00 PM to buy some BBQ chicken plates on March 7, 2026 in Princeton, N.C. at St. Patrick’s Lodge, and Drive Thru!
I would like to reserve THREE plates at $12.00 each… I will pick those up at 4:00 PM at Princeton (BOON HILL), Why did they change the name to Princeton? I like “Boon Hill, N.C.” as in the original charter of the 1800s…
