The Town of Benson’s Boil Water Advisory was lifted at 12:30 Tuesday afternoon. The Town issued the advisory 24 hours earlier for certain parts of town following a 12 inch water main break.
The advisory asked public water customers on Highway 242, Dogeye Road and Oak Park Drive to boil water before consumption.
Test results Tuesday showed the water was safe for consumption and the advisory was lifted.
Town Manager Matt Zapp said, “We apologize for the inconvenience and thank our customers for their cooperation.”
