Benson Man Linked To Week-Long Crime Spree In His Neighborhood

BENSON – Detectives have solved a rash of crimes in the Benson area with the arrest of a 28 year-old man. Julian Frank Carpio of Tarheel Road, Benson was arrested February 2 and held under a $110,000 secured bond.

Carpio is accused of breaking into The Country Junction on Tarheel Road on January 20 stealing two microphones and an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the same week, he is accused of breaking into approximately nine vehicles along Tarheel Road. In one car break-in a firearm was stolen. At last report, the stolen gun had not been recovered.

Carpio faces a dozen felony charges including breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, and nine counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. He was also served with a warrant for probation violation.

    • There’s no end to your pettiness and ignorance because it was in fact Joe Biden who pardoned his family and many dangerous criminals who should have never seen the light of day. You would rather people who commit petty crimes be locked up the rest of their lives while you pull for the racists and pedophiles.
