BENSON – A 32 year-old woman was arrested last week on five drug charges. Around 10:00am last Wednesday, Nov. 25th a Johnston County Sheriff’s Office SAFE Team deputy was on patrol on Woods Crossroads Road near Benson and stopped a passenger car for displaying a fictitious license plate.
During the traffic stop, the driver, Jennifer Lynn Jackson of Woodall Dairy Road, Benson was arrested after suspected methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax, Adderall, a smoking pipe and hypodermic needles was allegedly found in her possession.
Jackson was charged with two felony and three misdemeanor drug violations. She was held on a $25,000 secured bond.
