His son, Jonathan Taylor Winter of Applewhite Road, Wendell was identified as the suspect who reportedly took the money. During a search of his son’s room, drug paraphernalia was allegedly found.
His girlfriend, Tiffini Meshell Taylor of Black Forest Drive, Clayton was also present. During a search of her purse a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was allegedly found.
Winter was charged with financial card fraud, identity theft, obtaining property by false pretenses and parole violation. Bail was set at $100,000.
Taylor was charged with methamphetamine possession and confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $5,000 bond.
