Johnston County deputies arrested a Benson woman after pulling over her car for a broken brake light. Monday afternoon, a deputy sheriff stopped a vehicle after noticing a broken brake light and an expired license plate.
The driver, Jaclyn Renee Blalock, 42, of DJ Drive, Benson was arrested after a search of the car allegedly revealed two small ziplock bags containing a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, two glass smoking pipes and a pill bottle containing suspected marijuana in her purse.
Blalock was charged with one felony and two misdemeanor drug violations. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
