A number of residential break-ins were reported this morning (Monday) in Wayne County.
Deputies said the calls starting come in from homeowners around 2:00am. The first report came from a resident on Spring Bank Road near Goldsboro who said a man had broken into their home while they slept.
Additional break-ins were reported with the last burglary call coming in around 6:30am.
The suspect is still at large. He is described as a white male, 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 11, 155 pounds, with a slender build. He was wearing a white t-shirt. The victim of the last break-in said the man had a pink beach towel wrapped around his head.
