Six vehicles parked at a Cleveland area business all had their catalytic converters stolen. The theft was discovered Monday morning at Bath Fitter at 182 Cleveland Crossing Drive.
An employee told Johnston County deputies someone had removed catalytic converters from the work vehicles while they were in the parking lot. The theft is believed to have occurred over the weekend. The converters were valued at $500 each.
The theft is currently under investigation by sheriff’s detectives.
