Classroom Disturbance Lands Student In Jail

A student at West Johnston High School was arrested following an incident on campus Monday morning.

Around 10:45am, authorities allege 17 year-old Tashaun Levell Freemen of Angier, walked into a classroom where a teacher was instructing her students. Freeman allegedly approached a student and shoved him in the chest.

No one was injured.

A school resource officer at West Johnston High charged Freeman with disorderly conduct on school grounds, a misdemeanor. He was released from custody after posting a $500 bond.
