Clayton Man Charged With First Degree Burglary

A Clayton man is accused of breaking into his ex-wife’s home even though she had obtained a domestic violence restraining order against him.

Around 5:30pm Saturday, the 45 year-old victim reported Christopher Antwon Boyd broke into her Clayton area home and stolen her cell phone and car keys. Boyd fled the scene before they arrived.

He was located Sunday morning and arrested on several charges including first degree burglary, violating a domestic violence protection order, domestic criminal trespass and felony larceny.

The victim in the case was not harmed.
