Clayton Man Linked To Truck Theft, Break-Ins

SELMA – A Clayton man has allegedly confessed to committing three break-ins last week near Selma.  They occurred on September 22nd and 23rd.

Alexander Michael Lorenzo of Windgate Drive is accused of stealing a GMC pickup truck on Firetower Road near Selma.  Afterwards, he reportedly broke into a vacant house on Janie Road and then forced his way into a horse stable where he stole a shovel.

Lorezno was charged by Johnston County deputies with breaking and entering, larceny and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.  The 24 year-old suspect was held on a $35,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
