A Selma man was jailed Monday night under a $200,000 bond after his arrest during a traffic stop in the Smithfield city limits.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on N. Brightleaf Boulevard reportedly driven by 30 year-old Deondre Montreal Russell of S. Peedin Street.
Russell was arrested after two ounces of suspected cocaine was allegedly found in his possession. The cocaine had a potential street value of $5,600.
Russell was charged with three counts of cocaine trafficking and one count of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine.
