Two Dunn residents have been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a 12 year-old boy. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division began a sexual assault investigation in June 2020 that stemmed from information received from Sampson and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office investigations.
Harnett County investigators charged Kerrie Norris, 35, with statutory rape, statutory sex offense and felony conspiracy after an investigation involving a 12 year-old male victim known to the two suspects. Norris remains in the Harnett County Detention Center under a $855,000 secured bond.
Detectives have also charged Emmanuel Lewis Davis, 36, with statutory rape, statutory sex offense and felony conspiracy involving the same victim. Davis remains in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $435,000 secured bond.
Authorities said the assault took place in the summer of 2017 at the suspects residence. The suspects were in a relationship at the time of the assault.
