Deputies Identify Four Oaks Burglary Suspect

Thanks to viewers, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has identified and arrested a man wanted for breaking into a vacant Four Oaks home earlier this month.

On June 11th, JoCoReport published surveillance photos of a man wanted for a break-in June 1st in the 4800 block of Highway 301.  The suspect entered a home in the process of being remodeled. He allegedly stole two vacuum cleaners valued at $135 before fleeing.

After the photos of the suspect and his white Ford Explorer with 30-day tags were posted, sheriff’s detectives received several calls about the suspect’s identity.

Frederick Warren, 62, of the 300 block of Davis Mill Road, Selma was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.  Warren had previously been arrested on June 6th by Pine Level Police for fleeing to elude arrest, driving on a revoked license and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Warren was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
