Johnston County Public Schools has approved an expenditure to pay for design services at three pending construction projects, all being funded from the 2018 JCPS Bond Referendum approved four years ago by voters.
Boomerang Design was selected to provide design services for an auditorium addition at Clayton High School. They were awarded a $500,000 bid for the design phase of the project.
Moseley Architects was chosen to design the new multipurpose gymnasium for Smithfield-Selma High School. Moseley was awarded a $210,000 design contract.
Skinner, Farlow, and Kirwan Architecture was awarded a $90,000 design contract for the cafeteria expansion at North Johnston High School.
A construction date for the three projects was not announced.
