A Johnston County man was jailed Tuesday under a $250,000 bond after a drug search warrant was executed at a home in the Clayton city limits.
Following a three month undercover investigation, agents with the NC SBI, Johnston County Sheriff’s Office narcotics division, and Clayton Police executed the search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of N. Fayetteville Street. The home is approximately two blocks away from Cooper Academy.
During the investigation, Shawn Taylor Eason, 33, of N. Fayetteville Street, allegedly sold methamphetamines to undercover sheriff’s drug agents out of the home. During the search warrant suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia was seized.
Eason was charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, deliver of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of cocaine.
