Drugs, Cash Seized During Traffic Stop

pryor-ray-mugsA quantity of marijuana and cocaine were allegedly found inside a car during a routine traffic stop. Around 8:55pm Sunday, a Smithfield police officer stopped a car for a traffic violation on Market Street near Interstate 95.

During the stop, police reportedly seized 46 grams of marijuana, 19 grams of cocaine, $250 in cash, two cell phones, a glass jar, unmarked prescription bottle, and a large amount of clear plastic bags.

Two people in the vehicle, Tanasaia Brianna Pryor, 18, of Black Forest Lane, Clayton and Darius Hikeen Ray, 20, of Glenn Street, Clayton were charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail for both suspects was set at $30,000 each.
