KENLY – Four people were arrested Wednesday afternoon by Johnston County deputies. Around 2:05pm, the sheriff’s office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 4600 block of Princeton-Kenly Road.
A deputy arrived and located the vehicle and four people. They reportedly told the officer their car had run out of gas.
The officer became suspicious about their activity and received permission to search the car. During the search, suspected methamphetamine, narcan, two hypodermic needles and a straw were reportedly found inside a flashlight.
Timothy Jason Holmes, 42, of Green Street, Chapel Hill; Laura Holmes Holmes, 41, of Buffalo Road, Selma; Brandon Lee Moore, 26, of Simpson Road, Lucama; and Shenna Leanne Tucker, 37, of Country Club Drive, Wilson were all charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
A magistrate set bail at $10,000 for each suspect.
