The Harnett County Arts Council will host its fourth annual Chalk Fest on Saturday, October 9th starting at 8:00am on E. Broad Street between N Clinton Avenue and N. Magnolia Avenue in downtown Dunn. This family-friendly event will feature local artists creating original chalk designs, live music, and vendors.
The community is invited to participate in this event in a variety of ways. Artists of all ages, both amateur and professional, are invited to sign up to compete and chalk an original design. Local businesses have the opportunity to apply to be vendors, gaining publicity and marketing their wares. Finally, members of the community are encouraged to attend the event. Attendees can view artists finishing their work while browsing vendors and enjoying live music.
