Pfizer First & Second Dose Vaccination Clinic

April 30, 2021 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Pfizer First & Second Dose Vaccination Clinic will be held on Friday, April 30th at Johnston Community College in Smithfield.

The Johnston County Health Department is holding a first and second dose Pfizer drive-thru clinic on Friday, April 30th from 8:00 a.m. until supplies last at Johnston Community College located at 245 College Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577. Please do not arrive prior to 7:00 a.m. The Health Department will be administering the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine (16 years of age and up) as well as second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.  Individuals under the age of 18 need an adult present to receive the vaccine.  Patients will need a second dose between 21 and 42 days after the first dose.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge to all individuals, regardless of immigration or health insurance status.

Individuals seeking a second dose should have received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on or before April 9, 2021.  The initial dose did not have to be administered by the Health Department.  Individuals should bring their COVID-19 vaccination card indicating receipt of the initial Pfizer vaccine.

Vaccinations will be administered on a first come, first serve basis until our capacity has been reached.  Depending on the number of individuals attending the clinic, there may be a wait, so we encourage you to bring food and drink with you.  Restrooms will be available if needed.  Those seeking the vaccination should be aware that it is not recommended for those who have had another vaccine within the previous 14 days.  In addition, individuals who have an active COVID-19 infection (under isolation) or recent exposure to an individual with COVID-19 should defer receiving the vaccination until recovered or removed from quarantine.
