Father, Son Arrested In Baseball Bat Attack

A 62 year-old man and his 33 year-old son are both facing felony charges after they reportedly attacked each other with a baseball bat.

It happened at the family home on West Main Street in Micro.

Johnston County deputies responded to a domestic altercation at the address around 4:15am Sunday.

Michael Shea Gaylor is charged with striking his father with a baseball bat causing a deep laceration to his scalp and a cut to his ear.  Michael Anthony Gaylor is accused of striking his son with a short wooden bat during the melee.

Both father and son were booked into the Johnston County Jail under a $40,000 bond each.
