A Four Oaks man was arrested Wednesday afternoon, a week after a search warrant was conducted at his home.
On July 3rd, narcotic agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the address of 52 year-old James Leonard Parker in the 1700 block of Parkertown Road off Highway 301 South. Parker was not at home at the time.
During a search of his residence, agents reportedly found 28 grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The meth had an estimated street value of $2,800.
Parker was located July 10th and charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamines and felony maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. He was placed in the Johnston County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
