A routine traffic stop on Monday resulted in the arrest of a Four Oaks man on felony methamphetamine possession charges.
Joey Randolph Williams Jr. of the 5100 block of Highway 96 South was arrested during a 2:46pm traffic stop on Allendale Road.
A Johnston County SAFE Team deputy was on patrol and stopped a vehicle for speeding. Authorities said Williams, the driver of the car, reportedly had a small amount of suspected methamphetamine inside a folded $1 bill in his wallet.
Williams was arrested and transported to the Johnston County Jail where his bond was set at $5,000.
