A month long investigation into the theft of $3,900 in property taken from a southern Johnston County home has resulted in the arrest of a Four Oaks man.
The 35 year-old victim said while she was in jail, someone took items from her home on Wilmack Drive in Benson.
The victim said her refrigerator, stove, washing machine, dryer, computer table, 3 TV’s and a sound bar were removed from her home.
Deputies later found some of the stolen property had been sold to a pawn shop in Wake County.
Corey Thomas Fulford, 27, of the 400 block of Sheffield Drive, Four Oaks was arrested Nov. 19th on larceny and obtaining property by false pretense charges.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the theft, was able to recover some of the stolen items.
