Four Oaks Police Conduct Two Drug Search Warrants

Four Oaks Police seized cocaine, marijuana, a firearm and an undisclosed amount of cash after conducting two drug search warrants.

Police said the first search warrant was executed Thursday, Oct. 10th at 1794 Apartment-A Black Creek Road.   Officers said they had received several complaints about drug activity and developed probable cause for a search warrant. During the search of the residence, officers reportedly seized an undisclosed amount of money, a 40 caliber handgun, and cocaine concealed inside folded $5, $10, and $20 bills.

Jerome Fargus Bennett, 38, of Lockwood Drive, Clayton was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was transported to the Johnston County Jail and held under a $100,000 bond.  Police said Bennett’s girlfriend was living in the apartment.

Around 5:30pm Monday, Oct. 14th, police executed a narcotics search warrant at 406 Bandy Street. Officers said marijuana had been previously sold out of the home to an undercover informant.

Daiquion Mondarious Charles, 22, of the same address was arrested after two ounces of marijuana was reportedly found hidden in the attic.  Charles was charged with the felonious sell and deliver of marijuana and felonious possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana.  He was jailed under a $110,000 bond.

“If you’re out there selling drugs we’re going to find you,” Four Oaks Police Chief Stephen Anderson said.
