Four Oaks Store Clerk Arrested

Four Oaks Police have charged a convenience store clerk with felony larceny after an investigation.

Police Chief Stephen Anderson said loss prevention at Speedway became suspicious of a transaction made by a clerk working at the store at 6127 US 301 South.

After reviewing video store cameras the employee, 47 year-old Billi-Sue Ann Flint of Coats allegedly scanned and activated a pre-paid gift card in the amount of $100.  Flint indicated on the cash register payment was made by check when in fact no check was ever placed in the register drawer.

After police independently reviewed the store video from January 4th, police obtained a warrant for her arrest. On January 7th when Flint arrived at work she was arrested and charged with felony larceny by an employee.

She was taken before a magistrate and given a $2,500 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.
