Fourth Arrest Made In Rash Of Car Break-Ins

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a fourth person they say was responsible for a rash of car break-ins in the Clayton and Cleveland areas in June.

The fourth suspect, Dayon Shaikel Surrett, 19, of Ray Drive, Smithfield was arrested Tuesday on more than a dozen charges.

Previously, detectives had charged Yamez Emmueal Bennett, 17, of Third Avenue Smithfield; Krystopher Kelvin Andrews, 23, of Noble Street, Selma; and Robert Tremayne Davis, 27, of Third Avenue, Smithfield.

Some of the property taken during the break-ins has been recovered.
