CLAYTON – The holiday season is upon us, and Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library is ready to make gift wrapping as fun as the presents themselves. Join them for Wrap It Up from 12 – 6 p.m., Monday, December 2 at 100 South Church Street. This program, which is free and open to the public, is designed for adults. Plus, it offers a safe space to wrap gifts without kids peeking and discovering what they’re getting early.
Who would have thought the library could be the ultimate spot for wrapping gifts? Participants can unwind and wrap holiday presents in style. The library provides all the essentials – wrapping paper, bows, tape, scissors, and name tags – though everyone is welcome to bring their own supplies. It’s a drop-in event, so attendees can come and go as they please, enjoying stress-free time preparing gifts.
To add to the festive fun, holiday music will play, and delicious cookies will be available to enjoy while wrapping. It’s a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit and check off some to-do list items.
