Felon Facing Gun And Pill Possession Charges

FOUR OAKS – A convicted felon is facing charges after his residence was searched by law enforcement officers. Probation and parole officers requested Johnston County deputies assist with an October 20th search of a home in the 2500 block of Parkertown Road.

Dedrick Wayne Snead, 34, of the address, was arrested after a 9mm handgun and prescription pills were found, according to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

Snead was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, felony probation violation, and three felony drug charges. Snead was confined in the Johnston County Jail in lieu of a $75,000 secured bond.
